Walk Before You Run

The 5K may be relatively short for a road race but it is still challenging. Any distance is hard if you run at a pace that you cannot sustain. Use Comfortable Clothes

Consider the weather at the starting line. Is it going to be hot and sunny or cold and cloudy? You need to dress appropriately for the event. Make sure that you have comfortable tops and bottoms.
