Occupational Therapy Central Coast

Two people with the same condition may need different approaches because one lives alone, another shares childcare and a third spends most of the day at a computer.

A useful review asks what has changed, which task still causes trouble and whether the strategy is being used in real life.

Keeping a short record of fatigue, pain, breaks and completed activities can prevent guesswork at the next appointment. Therapy may then shift from practising a task to adapting the environment, building endurance or coordinating care with other health professionals.
